Boser punishes Camur in bounce-back victory at UFC Fight Night

Bonnyville’s own Tanner Boser bulldozed his way back into the win column.

At UFC Fight Night in Nashville on Saturday, Boser dominated Aleksa Camur for three rounds, earning an easy decision on the scorecards, with all three judges scoring the bout 30-27.

He landed nearly twice as many significant strikes according to post-fight statistics, as he pummeled Camur to bounce back after being KO’d in his last octagon appearance in April.

Boser looked noticeably slighter as he records his first victory at light heavyweight.

“I landed a lot of big strikes, but he’s tough. He’s never been finished.” said Boser, post-fight.

“It wasn’t a finish, but at least it was dominant.

“I’m still getting better. My coaches will attest, I’m actually improving still in every facet. I’m 32, so I still got some years ahead of me if you look at the average age of light-heavyweight and heavyweight.”

He says he plans to not stop eating for a week to reward himself after a much needed win.
